My values -
curiosity, wellbeing, courage
My work is rooted in over two decades of deep study and lived experience with the body, movement and healing. My journey began with a degree in Dance Studies, where I first developed a fascination with anatomy and the intelligence of the body. In 2007, I was awarded a bursary to explore the mind–body connection through movement and the philosophy of embodiment — the felt sense of truly being in the body.
Life then invited me into a different kind of initiation. At the beginning of my Master’s degree, I became pregnant with my son. As a young mother in a foreign country, I chose to step away from academia and devote myself fully to motherhood. Those early years shaped me profoundly — deepening my sensitivity, resilience and understanding of the female body through change, demand and transformation.
Alongside maintaining a connection to my creative practice, I worked within Health and Social Care, supporting individuals with autism, visual impairments and complex needs. At the same time, I committed to my own inner work, developing a dedicated meditation practice that brought clarity, grounding and meaning to my life, and eventually led me to train as a meditation and mindfulness teacher.
I also live with PMDD, an experience that has required me to deeply listen to my body and shape my life around its rhythms. This has given me a profound respect for the cyclical nature of women’s health, and an embodied understanding of how physical, emotional and hormonal patterns intertwine. It is a perspective I bring gently and respectfully into my work with women navigating their own transitions.
In 2014, I discovered Bowen Therapy and experienced first-hand its subtle yet powerful ability to support the body’s natural healing response. I went on to train with the Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia and have since developed a refined, intuitive approach to treatment. I am a member of the Bowen Association UK and continue to invest in ongoing professional development. My qualifications include Level 3 certifications in Mental Health and in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Complementary Therapies (ITEC), as well as fascia-focused movement training through Moving Fascia®.
More recently, I completed a six-month mentorship in Integrating Bodymind Dialoguing in Self and Clinical Practice with Tensegrity Medicine™ — a trauma-informed approach that explores the deeper relationship between physical symptoms, emotional patterns and belief systems. This allows me, where appropriate, to gently bridge the gap between what is felt in the body and what may be held beneath the surface. I am currently training on a MA part-time course in Coaching at Warwick University.
My work is both precise and deeply nurturing. I support people in releasing pain, tension and overwhelm, while reconnecting with a sense of ease, strength and self-trust. Each session is an invitation for the nervous system to settle, for the body to reorganise, and for healing to unfold in a way that feels safe and sustainable.
If you are seeking a calm, attentive and highly personalised approach, I would be honoured to support you. Many clients experience meaningful shifts from the very first session.
